Alexander rolled his ankle on another players foot in the walk through yesterday and DNP today. You have got to be kidding me,

Hoping it's precautionary and he can suit up but that doesn't sound good....was hoping he could solidify the pass coverage against a Dallas team that has plenty of weapons in the passing game to at least give the defense a shot at slowing down the Cowboys at home.

The only way we win this one is to center the offensive game plan around Aaron Jones. He's the only offensive player with playoff experience and kills the Cowboys. Give him 30 touches and control the clock, keeping their offense off the field, and more importantly, keep our defense off the field.

Jones in the game plan is critical, but so is Love taking most snaps under center and really working the play action game off Jones as a running threat in the passing game.  Love has been dynamic off play action, particularly under center, and that action opens up more intermediate gaps in coverage if it starts from the quarterback taking the snap from under center and selling that run fake to suck the LB's in longer than what a shotgun snap/mesh point fake does.  Gotta get that Dallas D line playing run gaps instead of pinning their ears back at the snap, or I think Love will be running for his life most of the game.

I think the only way GB wins is if the defense finds a way to generate a couple turnovers and the offense continues to play balanced football that winds up controlling time of possession and doesn't look like 3 yards and a cloud of dust every down.

MLF said he was day to day and they gave him the day off to rest it but when it comes to Alexander I assume he will be out.

well, if his ankle isn't borderline 100% he becomes an undersized corner with average quickness....so he'd probably be better served not suiting up.  Hoping he's able to play and be a positive factor for the defense, though.

Almost feels like they've been better without him this year.

Another January injury to a key contributor right before the playoffs.  Can’t make it up.

Then again, I also had the same thought as @homer—this team has been playing quite well in the secondary with Valentine and Ballentine, attorneys at ball.

But then again, Dallas is a different beast.  This is the most complete passing attack our defense has played all season (and is likely to see in this whole tournament).  We may be about to find out how much smoke and mirrors Joe Barry has left in the bag.

Yes, but our ace-in-the-whole is Mike McCarthy in the playoffs! 😂

He rolled his ankle and he was walking without a limp 4 days before the game.

I'm guessing he'll be fine. MLF just talked about there being an element of gamesmanship. I do not think Jaire will miss this game over a sore ankle.

He didn't practice again today and is listed as questionable. 52 guys took part in the walk through on Wednesday and the guy who has the "freak accident" is Alexander?? Something doesn't seem right about that whole situation with him this year, I hope I am wrong but I don't think he plays Sunday.

1st Packers post this season.  There's a lot of helium on the cowboys offense at home. The defense on games I looked at scored 16pts themselves. Set up the offense inside the 25yard line at least 3 more times. Teams turned it over on downs like 3 times per game.  Dallas winning the turnover game being something Love hasn't done the last half this season.

Detroit kicks a FG vs going for it on 4th and goal down 10-3 on 3yd line. 10-6 game. They win 23-20.

Point is, Love and the offense is playing at a higher level than Dallas has been going up against.  They take care of the ball, I'm going GB runs away with this game. Kraft/Musgrave are such threats and outlets that Love has thrown to on big time plays.

Contain Lamb on 1 big play that we make over him. Yeah he'll get more opportunities,  but it's Prescott- he's going to flare one Lamb's way if Dallas is behind and a deflection or interception will seal the deal for GB.

I think I'll go see just how many pts Dallas defense scored at home or gave Dallas offense field position within the 35yard line(FG range)

33pts defensively so 32pts a game offensively. 5 times inside 35 but 4 more time on the 37 they scored as result so 9 overall. 16-6 TO win.

QBs faced-Z Wilson, Mac jones-Zaippe. Stafford.  Devito(170yds offense). Howell. Smith. Hurts. Goff.

Dallas does an exceptional job scoring 1st at home 1st drive Tds. I'd avoid giving them the ball first. But MLF won't do that.

Also Dallas does an amazing job giving up 8-12yrds on 3rd and 9-15 and followed by stopping opponents on 4th down. Either don't go for it or hope Love is the better quality of those 9 QBs Dal went against in those situations. (Certainly lately has been)

Green Bay running away with this game feels like more than I could hope for at this point.  All I know is we have a chance and if we can limit the turnovers we have a good chance.  Keep it close and let the Dallas choke job happen.

To win this one they're going to have to win the turnover battle. Probably need to be at least +2

Additionally, I believe they were heavier on flagging the home team.

Alexander and Watson active

I’m not expecting either one to finish the game.  I just hope Watson doesn’t tear a hammy.  He needs the offseason to get his body right, and a bunch of rehab on top of that isn’t ideal.

might be awhile before GB is an underdog again

1 week isn't that long of a time.

Cowboys clearly challenging the run game in the middle... need to counter with Kraft to the edge
