Junis to IL…..Ashby recalled

Might want to fix the title to correct the auto correct.  Hopefully, junis won't be out too long and Ashby can hold the line well enough while hes up.

Yeah not really excited to see Ashby in the bigs at 92-93mph with no command. Shell city.

My guess is that when Ashby starts they keep him to like 3/4 innings and piggyback Wilson with him. Ashby was good for 3/4 innings in AAA and then fell apart a bit (if memory serves). I really don't mind Ashby getting some chances, I just wouldn't give him a very long rope and make sure Wilson and Hudson are ready for 3+ innings each if Ashby is bad.

Maybe Gutierrez gets a chance somewhere but just isn't on the right time line?

With Miley's imminent return, I'm guessing Ashby is sent back to AAA after tomorrow's game. Who will they bring up before Miley's next start? Paredes looks intriguing but he doesn’t have options.

I doubt they send Ashby down until Junis is back in the rotation. With 39 games in 41 days they seem likely to keep a 6-man rotation.

The reason I thought they'd send Ashby down is because they have other starting options. I think the Brewers love Tobias Myers, and he's been awesome so far. His stuff is real too. What a find.
