I am sick of Dunn's pitch selection. How many times have we seen him take strike 3 down the middle and swing at a bad ball for strike 3, or vice versa swing at a bad pitch strike 2 and take strike 3 in the zone.

Yeah, everyone is done with Dunn except the Big One!  Papa Murphy!

I believe Dunn will be sent to Nashville early this week

There is a reason he was 27 before getting a shot. He's not good. Imagine Chourio in the minors for 7 more years just to get a call up. Brewers are wasting time with Ortiz sitting.

This is not about any one ab. This is a team wide problem that is sn issue. Umpiring is bad. Nothing new. Foul it off and get a better one.

As we watch the number 2 prospect in baseball get pinch hit for by Bauers just to get called out. It's a problem team wide.

Concerning on multiple levels.

Think the Cubs should be pretty comfortable division favorites at this point. Seems like they will be getting Steele, Hendricks, Suzuki, and Bellinger back this week. Wesneski and Brown moving to the pen full time will really solidify their bullpen and their rotation is just so much better than ours. Lineups are probably closer to even, but the gap in SP seems so significant at the moment.

Or maybe the Cubs starters are just pitching great this weekend.

Or maybe the Brewer batters can’t hit. This was the worst possible outcome this weekend. They couldn’t even hit themselves out of a wet paper bag. What a total embarrassment. I could name at least 5 players I would send down to AAA or below. Thank goodness we have a top 5 minor league ranking, the only trouble with that is they are all AAAA players.

You really can't blame Counsell for jumping ship when you size these teams up top to bottom. I mean especially given he knew the pitching was going to crater. Need pitching? Cubs go and bring in the Asian guy who is unhittable. Brewers bring up Janson Junk.

Any chance Counsell’s knowledge of Freddy Peralta & his tendencies could bite us today?

Apparently the answer to my question is YES

Same principle applies to Murphy

There is a reason he was 65 before getting a shot

If you had told me beforehand that the final score today would be 5-0 … I would have lost a bet assuming the Brewers would shutout the Cubbies with Peralta out-dueling Assad.  Shows how little I know about this game after 63 years.

this team again losses another weekend series after winning the first game. this weekend worse it vs the cubs.

dunn and Bauers are just wasting roster spots IMO doing nothing for this team.

Put Ortiz in and either let him sink or swim at this point.

I still feel the team needs to make a move in someway for a starting pitcher.

this lineup seems to forget again how to hit with Men on base
