Nashville wins it. CF Rodriguez just couldn’t get out former MLB J Walsh, who homered twice - 2run and solo

Otherwise 6 IP and just those 3 runs off Walsh’s bat. 8K and 1Bb, 93 pitches. Zamora with 2 hits, Dunn and Collin’s with a hit and a walk apiece.

Zamora simply showcasing the only remedy to being a Shucker is to get promoted the heck out of there. That team is, ummm, yeah.

Shuckers going to final inning. Only 4 meager hits. OK stats by Miz, but the bullpen gave up hits with some errors and now it is 7-1 Birmingham. Their offensive struggles are becoming offensive. Boeve has cooled. Wilken with a few XBH but little else recently. EBJ has gotten some hits to raise his average closer to .200. But boy it’s been tough to follow (or watch).

If there is a way to lose in 2024, these Shuckers will find it. I blame the ongoing camera issues. The season was snakebitten from the first Home game.

Well Wilken doubles to start the ninth. But three ground outs and Wilken scores a run but that’s it. 7-2 loss.

offensive didn’t look very competitive. CD Rodriguez with w of the 5 hits total.

Complec Brew Crew start off big - and who else but Bitonti and DiTuri at the helm. But 8-0 lead now being whittled. 8-4 still in the 5th.  Nice start by Hayden Robinson. 3 scoreless.

ACL club survives the 5th up 8-4. In the 6th they allow two baserunners but no more.

on to the bottom of the 6th with Bitonti and DiTuri coming up. Still 8-4. Let’s get some more runs please.

Let's get nutty:

With Nashville taking the first 4 vs Charlotte series, moving to 3 games over 0.500, they now trail International League leading Omaha by a mere 6.5 G.

Definitely some positive pitching on the farm tonight.

Carlos F Rodriguez continues trending in the right direction. These last 4 starts from him are what we were expecting to get from him this year. Starting to put that bad start to the year behind him.

Logan Henderson didn't have a great line, but he was running the FB up to 97 a couple times and his stuff looked great. Didn't locate as well as we know he can, but with his stuff looking this improved and the command we know he has flashed he could have a big time prospect bump this year.

KC Hunt with 8 K's over 4 innings. I'm about to watch him pitch.

Knoth with 4 solid innings. The FB was looking great at the top of the zone and seemed like the curveball command was better than what I'm used to seeing. Nice 7 SO performance.

And they get 2 more runs.  Bitonti strikes out - ugh. But DiTuri triples for his 3rd hit and OPS 1.200. He his having a great start. Top 7. 10-4 baby brewers.

Because of the pre-signing hype (and how Lara, one of that year's big three, has taken off), it feels like Barrios has been in the system forever. Easy to forget he got his start the same year as guys like Demetrio Nadal and Anthony Flores.
