One of the Dominican Summer League teams debuts today, then both DSL teams are in action Tuesday.

Maryvale begins their week as well, remember their season ends in late July this year.

As such, we will have a Tuesday AM Link Report for the next two months, normally with three games discussed (just two games in tomorrow's report).

We unfortunately have to wait another day for the DSL Brewers season to start. DSL Brewers 2 had no scheduled game today and DSL Brewers 1 were rained out. Bummer.

AND, a relief to not have to tack on two additional games in my report tomorrow, if I'm being an honest fellow. And, an honest fellow I am and shall be. I'll take an 8 game write-up over a 9. You know, for reasons.🤪

We will continue the same routine as in the prior few weeks. No formal Tuesday AM Link Report due to the DSL rainout, and both ACL games will be covered Wednesday AM.

That’s another DSL-style box score for our ACL Brewers, who led 3-1 early and 5-3 after 3 innings (RF Gery Holguin 2-run homer), but ultimately fell 12-5 in 7 innings (as scheduled) to the ACL Reds.

The Reds went 10-for-10 in stolen base attempts, but had one player picked off (doubles as a caught stealing). Two Brewer pitchers combined to throw 8 wild pitches.

I’m sorry but that had to be a rough day behind the plate for C Edgardo Ordonez.
