From Saturday's Link Report:

"After chronicling nine games for us from Thursday's slate, we lessen Daniel's load significantly for Sunday with a standard four-game menu, no doubleheaders, no rookie league action. You are welcome, Daniel! But he will get to discuss RHP Logan Henderson's AA debut with the Shuckers, which hopefully will prove very exciting!"

High-A Wisconsin can clinch a 4-2 home series win over Quad Cities this afternoon behind LHP Brian Fitzpatrick (3.55 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 9.0 K/9 in 33 IP). 2B Dylan O’Rae has a 20-game on-base streak and LF Jheremy Vargas comes in with a nice little 5-game hit streak (1 homer, 1 triple, 4 doubles, 2 singles).

No Wiemer. No Black. No Collins (shocked face emoji)? Hopefully no problem. AAA Nashville can also capture their home series 4-2 with a win over Louisville, backing impressive 25-year old RHP Chad Patrick (2.87 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, 8.8 K/9 in 53.1 IP). C Francisco Mejia has a 6-game hit streak, including 4 two-hit games.

Now Dylan O’Rae knocks in the first run of the game (Jadher Areinamo, who’d walked) on his second single. 1-0 T-Rats in the 3rd inning.

22-year old RHP Logan Henderson (1.35 ERA with 10 Ks in 6.2 High-A IP) is officially a AA pitcher and he’ll he throwing to C Andy Yerzy in his debut at this level. Biloxi (22-33) can snatch an improbable 4-2 series win at formidable Montgomery (32-24). RF Noah Campbell (.806 OPS) and 3B Mike Boeve lead a reinvigorated offense.

Rather surprised to see Wisconsin’s LHP Brian Fitzpatrick remain in the game after reaching a career-high 74 pitches thru 5 innings. With an off-day tomorrow. Throwing on 4 days’ rest (56 pitches on Tuesday).

Safe to say Manager Estevez wants this series win.

Timber Rattlers lead a tight game 1-0.

Impressive 6th inning from Fitz: K swinging, K swinging, pop out to first. He’s surely done at 88 pitches (52 strikes) of shutout ball.

C’mon T-Rats’ offense. 1-0 is too close!

Sounds up 5-1 top of three.

Two more runs came across bottom of one with two out singles from Eric Haase and Yonny Hernandez followed by a Chavez Young triple.

Fifth run came around on a Chris Roller double (wild pitch) and Francisco Mejia sac fly.

Now 5-2 as Patrick has surrendered a single and RBI double with one out.

Nashville added two more bottom of three as Chris Roller walked followed by Chavez Young and Vinny Capra singles.

All three also stole a base in the inning.

Score now 8-2 bottom of four and Owen Miller has just hit a lead off double.

Yerlin Rodriguez gave up a walk and double to put runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out bottom of eight.

Almost got out of it with a 5-2 fielders choice nabbing the tying run at the plate for out number two.

Unfortunately a wild pitch evened the score at a one apiece before Yerlin recorded the third and final out via K.

An Eric Haase single moved Miller to third and a Yonny Hernandez sac fly brought him home, now 9-2 through four complete.

A 3rd straight win for the Low-A Mudcats at Charleston tonight would enable them to split the series 3-3. Starting RHP Josh Timmerman (4.45 ERA, 1.52 WHIP, 11.1 K/9 in 32.1 IP) has been getting Ks but also allowing too many hits and runs. DH/OF Luis Castillo may be hitting .196, but he’s 4th in the 12-team Carolina League in homers, 6th in RBIs.

Walk, stolen base, single and Bayden Root finds himself in a runners on the corners no out jam trying to protect the 2-1 Wisco lead.

Root gives up the lead and then some.

Bottom 9th, Areinamo on 1st and Lara on 3rd, down 5-2.  Let’s go TRats!!

My baseball gods, they've done it. Tie game 5-5. Nobody down. Men on the corners. Wood at the dish.

They've intentionally walked Wood to load the bases. Hall sac flies to LF to score O'Rae. This team is amazing. They have so much GRIT. 6-5 W.

Man Tayden Hall is just starting to figure out high A I think. He’s had some hits. His first HR yesterday, and with the bases loaded he hits a big fly out to LF to score the winning run.  Very good at bat against a lefty pitcher, fought it off to get a big fly out. What a win by the TRats.  Huge comeback!!
