Brewers are an embarrassment against anyone any good for Cripes sakes.

****** compete.    God

These series' against the legitimate World Series contenders is showing that this team isn't ready for the big time yet and won't be as long as Mark A and Arnold are content to stick with a rotation full of 4s and 5s.

The overall depth is being tested and it's not looking good.  They need a couple of bats, a couple of pen arms and at least one more starter.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Yeah, can you image how good we would be if we could spend $110 million two or three times in the same season?  We would still have Corbin Burnes, Josh Hader, and would not be looking to get rid of the starting shortstop if this was the case.  And, we could sign better guys than Civale when the injury bug hits.

Keep hader and burnes.   Spend a lot of money.  Fine.  Then we don’t have Ortiz or Contreras either

thw dodgers have lost 35 games or so.   Teams have beaten them.    All of sudden we can’t and cry poor now

give me a break.    We have professional baseball players.   Compete

The pen arms are coming.   I’m not worried about that.    A first baseman who can hit would be nice

I think the offense is fine. They really need to get their C.C. Sabathia sooner than later instead of ham and eggers like Kuechel and Civale to take the pressure off the bullpen that's starting to crack because our starters constantly struggle to get through five innings.

I got my lucky game day candle lit. Let’s go Brew! Please beat the Dodgers on primetime.

Sure we would have them all IF we had the resources that the Dodgers have!

He's not out there AND we don't have the resources, anyway.

No you wouldn’t.   Because you wouldn’t trade anyone.   Or if you had a salary cap you could lose those guys anyways

i hate this kind of talk because all it leads to is then they should just leave Milwaukee if they can’t get the resources treego wants.   Maybe mark a should just leave then.    Maybe you can follow the Nashville brewers

Unfortunately, MLB is not a level playing field.

Our performance this year against the Phillies and Dodgers doesn't bode well for our chances of winning a 7 game series against either, and is a stark reminder that "bites at the apple" is no match for large capital investment.

Then again anything can happen in 7 games. We cant afford to go all in, and we might get lucky

They may have more capital but their uniforms are shabby.

We've been saying that for 20 years.

He's a mid rotation starter.  They give up runs.  He just isn't a lock down starter.

Ok he is a mid-rotation starter. Why do we have this conversation every Peralta start. We already know this.
