Crazy things happen in the desert, but I don't see a lot of incentive for the Brewers to play to win this one right now. Even if the Braves come back and clinch their spot, that's not the end of the world for the Brewers.

If we come back and win this one, OTOH, we're getting the Braves or Dbacks no matter what.

Would really like the Royals to hang on.

Yeah. And I don't think we'll have to worry with the way Rea is pitching.

It sucks because d backs are automatic number 7 seed then.   The whole advantage of the double header is gone if these results stay the same

If results stay the same:

D-Backs: 89-73

Mets: 88-72

Braves: 88-72

If Braves-Mets split each 1-1 tomorrow 3 teams tied with same record

The Mets and Braves hold the tie break over Arizona. So they would need to split tomorrow to both make the playoffs.  The Braves would then get the 4 seed and the Mets the 5 as Atlanta would hold the tie break over the Mets.

Yeah. Throwing 106 pitches today, seems pretty clear Rea is off the postseason roster.

At least the WC roster.

EVs against Milner: 107.2 grounder, 103.0 liner, 71.9 grounder, 97.1 fly.

Sorry man. Hoped you'd figure it out. Hudson may not have his best stuff, but maybe he's less risky than Milner (or Mears - but that's another story).

Padres have the 4-seed locked up. The other three teams are playing for 5 and 6.

Looks like tomorrow's games will be played. The ideal scenario is a split, right?

Yes. I don't want Arizona. Plus they would be the better rested team.

While it takes 18 innings in both games to complete them.

Ideal scenario is Braves win game 1 and Mets win game 2. Mets need to go hard for 18 straight innings.
