Damn, Kraft. Pro Bowler in the making. Great answer by the offense.

Tight window and great catch too.

That did not look good.

The way he was holding his arms.

Hopefully just a stringer.

Agreed. Worried about him seeing that.  Seeing him walk off like that feels good.  Might be out the rest if the game with a concussion after seeing him get hit in the head like that though.

that's on Nixon

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

What in God's name was Nixon doing? For crying out loud dude make the fair catch and be done with it. He could not have played that worse and it had disaster written all over it as soon as he let it bounce.

Just put Jayden Reed back there and stick with him. You gotta fair catch that. You can’t be giving the ball away against good teams.

Reporters next time they're about to ask why Jayden Reed returns punts: *crickets*

The only thing in Nixon’s defense is the two Packers defenders were barreling exactly through the path where he was going to need to catch that. Had he tried to catch it, I’m not sure the result is any prettier as I think the two blockers were going to plow him over, probably before he even got the ball to touch his hands.

Id have to watch it again, but honestly, Nixon might have been hosed no matter what he did.

Where is this genius special teams coach that we supposedly have?

I'm glad they snapped that. I'm not 100% that the previous play wasn't a lateral or backwards pass.

I think it was a fumble as well.

My thoughts exactly. I don't remember who said that, but when he was with the Raiders his special teams units were mediocre. His record as interim coach got him his gig here.
