The first six minutes of this episode fall a bit flat, but after that, Drew Anderson, currently a Regional Supervisor of Brewers' Amateur Scouting (and a former big-league Brewer) is a guest, and he and Tim just kill it with an extended chat on their minor league days (lots of Helena memories). My seven-day-a-week Link Report duties of that era were awakened, as I clearly recognized each and every random teammate mentioned, Robby Deevers, Nick Slack, Dan McKenna among many noted. Good times....

Man, that must have been a literal trip for you! I still have no idea who you managed seven days a week. Unreal output.

Fun story to begin, and then a great interview with Callix Crabbe. Even a "High Desert" mention. Enjoying the recollections, Tim!

Loved Callix Crabbe! Unrelated note: I have a Brewers logo home plate signed by Prince Fielder, Dennis Sarfate. Manny Parra, Tony Gwynn Jr and John Vandenberg (accidentally). Good memories of the 2003 Beloit Snappers.

LHP Mitch Stetter the latest guest, nice!

No idea how much of it is true and how much is embellished but that Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich story is legendary.

Agreed. Unreal. "You have ice cream in your beard. Let's turn two!" 😅

Johnny Raburn, 11-year grinder (never made "the Show") - Brewers organization 2002-2004, then again 2009-2010.

July 31, 2002 -
Brewers Traded Sal Fasano and Alex Ochoa to the Anaheim Angels. Received players to be named later and Jorge Fabregas. The Angels sent Johnny Raburn (minors) (Aug. 14, 2002) and Pedro Liriano (Sept. 20, 2002) to the Brewers to complete the trade.
