Not me. I'm waiting on the 40 burger. And now we're halfway there.

You mean 20-6 😁

Some positives:

We only play the Yankees one more time this year.

I would've definitely taken 1 win in this series. Still time for that.

We scored some runs against a lefty starter today (albeit with the help of some shoddy defense).

Still feels like spring training somehow. I expect we'll turn it around once back home. Better ABs today. We're going to figure it out. Probably tomorrow.

only 8 times this century have the Brewers started off 0-2 to start the season, and this is the worst in terms of run differential so far. (2022, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2011, 2003 and 2001).

The 2015 team went on to start 0-4, the 2011 team went 0-4 although that year went well ultimately, and the 2003 team went 0-6 to start for the absolute nadir of a season for this franchise. Outside of the 2011 team, that is not great company (2022 and 2017 teams were competitive but did not make the playoffs)

Really good info!

I was thinking we were sort of due for a bad start. This team feels like one that is going to need some coming together (Yelich returning, adjusting to Adames being gone, all the injuries on the pitching side). I also think we've been spoiled with really really good starts lately. The early schedule is difficult, too, opening in NY, and then getting a home week before traveling out west.

All in all, I'm going to feel fantastic if we are at .500 end of April. I'm giving this year's team much more leash than in years past, especially because I think the NL is going to be a logjam all year, at least after the Dodgers.
