To be fair that HR did come off a RHP. He started the season 1-15 prior to that at bat.

Not saying, just saying.

Good point

It does seem odd that Mitchell got a night off against a right handed pitcher but is back in there against one of the league’s best lefties

Scheduled days off for Yelich makes sense.

It does. And this is a small nitpick by me. But why use a utility guy as a DH and not give Churio, for example, a DH day? Make it at least a spot to rest an everyday guy and Collins can play corner OF

I think it's because they are curious about Collins' defense. He's hot with the bat so give him the bat and they will slow his way to a rotational spot. Just a thought though.

My guess is that he wants to use Yelich to PH for Collins...although he could still do that and make Yelich play the field for an inning or two....

"everyone likes the strikeouts but you don't need them"-Brock. back to saying this over and over again in my head for the next month lol

Sometimes Rock is a really good color buy. Sometimes he is less than really good.

Like the rest of us.

Given the construction of the roster I don't see how this team is ever going to hit left hand pitching. Frelick and Mitchell are kinda overkill. Love to move one of them for a righty bat if able.

At least they likely got Ragans out og the game after 5 (97 pitches I think). Hopefully Freddy can get us 2 more, I like our chances with Ragans out.

rolled over on one..

My slow pitch softball career was marked by rollovers to short. I finally gave in and asked for number 63, since that was what was written next to my name on the scorecard.

Don't feel too bad, I used to call 3 feet closer to the bag my "sweet spot" as my reasoning for making the shortstop miss.
