Now hold on there @sveumrules...striking out the side is when you strike out all the hitters you face in an inning. Please tell me you're not one of the ones who thinks 3 strikeouts in an inning is striking out the side.

Haha, definitely used the quotes because I know it’s a hotly contested topic. But I would agree that Daurys did not actually strike out the side in his inning.

I also think the leadoff hitter has to hit twice in the inning to bat around. Nine hitters coming to the plate is just batting thru.

You are speaking my language with that second part. Around implies you're back where you started. Through implies everyone batted.
