RHP Tanner Gillis (6 IP, 3 R, 4 Ks last outing) makes his 3rd High-A start as Wisconsin shoots for a 3-1 home series lead over Peoria. RF Kay-Lan Nicasia returns from injury for his first action in 45 days.

The Low-A Mudcats have our first game of the day, with 20-year old LHP Wande Torres (7.36 ERA, 1.64 WHIP, 8.2 K/9 in 22 IP) getting a chance to extend their 2-1 home series lead over Salem. DH Luis Pena (22) and SS Jesus Made (21) are 5th and 7th in the Carolina League in stolen bases.

The AA Shuckers have dropped 3 straight games at Rocket City, so now turn to LHP Tate Kuehner (1 ER over last 18 1/3 IP) to turn the series around. DH Mike Boeve has a 13-game on-base streak, though we’re still waiting for him to play in the field.

I see we are in one of those Mudcats games. Rivera already gave two back. 8-7. Top of 8th. The Sox's Encarnacion has been on an absolute heater of late. He hit the two run bomb after a lead-off single.

I'll grant you Dalbec can move around, a little. But no team is going to go with only two people that can play middle INF. I don't count Collins.

Did u forget Durbin can play middle infield as well or don't u consider him either 😂

No, I consider him someone who has been asked to play 3B with very little experience, is settling in there & therefore isn't going to be moved around needlessly.

You can hope to see them make the moves you suggested, but I think you'll have a long wait.

Meanwhile Yoho gave up two runs in the bottom of the 8th. Sounds lose after Alfaro's 3-run bomb had given them the lead in the top of the 8th. Ouch!
