Suarez is 33 years old, strikes out at least 3 time as many times as he walks, and is a free agent at the end of the year.  He sounds like the Gorman Thomas (who I liked as a Brewer) of third base.  I would think if Arizona is a seller he is available for a lot less than Peralta.  Maybe a couple for a couple of low-level prospects.  Maybe DiTuri and Wande Torres?

I would be open to dealing Peralta and Luke Adams for Lawler.   I’d prefer Peralta and Boeve and a 20-30 prospect instead though.

Curious where Lawler plays for us?  We have guys coming in Pratt, Wilken, Boeve and even Pena.  Seems silly to me to be so redundant in our trade targets if it involves a guy that we will have around a long time.

It's a tough situation, but if we don't land a 3B at the deadline, then I think it's time to give Wilken a taste of MLB to see how he does.

I sure hope we don't trade Luke Adams, that would bum me out.

Kinda interesting that BTV has Lawler valued pretty low at 7.3. To put that in perspective, Boeve is also at 7.3.
