He is not a Game 1 starter

Not right now. He was pitching like one for most of the season though. I wonder if he's wearing down. I know that's weird to say about a seasoned veteran like him but no question he's been off lately,

He’s a brutal watch for being such a talented pitcher. Kind of always has been. I rarely get the urge to buy tickets when he’s the probable starter. Sheets? Yo? Burnes? Woody? Full send. Peralta just isn’t the same.

You just know Murphy's going to send him out again because he's not at 100 yet. He should probably be limited to 90 right now. Either that or go to a six man rotation.

Keep scoring.     Peralta should have been able to get us through this with a 4 run lead.    He needs to skip a start too in my opinion.

Let’s see what Peralta does with ten pitches? 🤷‍♂️

Probably best to let a reliever start with a clean inning.

Hindsight is 20 / 20 … but I wish he’d been traded last week

No other Brewers player frustrates me as much as Peralta

I felt the same way last year

That would give off ‘Hader trade’ vibes which we likely won’t do again soon.

I fear that Milwaukee trades Freddy Peralta  during the offseason & Carlos Rodriguez takes his spot on the rotation & replicates his frustrating high & low tendencies

Almost guarantee he will be in the offseason. One year left on his deal. Good value. Lot of historical precedence. I think they will, and that’s ok. I definitely will wish him the best. I assume he’s the longest tenured guy here besides Yelich. Well, Woodruff too although he technically wouldn’t count because he was non tendered and a free agent.

I hope Murphy doesn’t go on & on during his postgame press conference bragging on “what a great kid Peralta is” … & “what a gutsy performance” … despite only giving up a run in five innings, nothing about his performance tonight was worthy of compliments
