"Myers Gets a Start. Tobias, Too!"

Very clever, Jim.

I had to do a double take on that one. Too bad we don't have a Griffin pitching in our system.

I'm more disappointed that no one commented on yesterday's "DeBerry DeButs with DeShuckers"

🤣

I thought Joseph did - but honestly I didn't read it right away, just saw DeBerry, and it wasn't until last night it hit me.  🙄

But you have been on a roll recently with the headlines!! Love 'em

Sure, just keep piling games on the weekend guy. How many games did Joseph have last night, three? Child’s play 😊

It's been annoying for me. I'm out of town the last ever weekend, busy every Wednesday with church stuff, and busy this Saturday. I may try to go tomorrow or Sunday. Then probably Tuesday and Thursday of that last week... then sadly if we don't make playoffs, I'm done at Five County):

LHP Tate Kuehner seeks a bounceback outing (2.1 IP, 8 R (3 ER), 4 Ks last week) to lead AA Biloxi to a 2-1 series lead at Knoxville. 3B Eduardo Garcia has a 15-game on-base streak.

That Cancelled game with Lynchburg could weigh heavily on a neck-and-neck playoff race going on within the Mudcat's division. Of course, winning games again could alleviate that concern. Just a hunch.

17-year-old Panamanian RHP Gustavo Garcia very clearly had his best outing of his season today: 4.0 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 1 Balk, 1 HR, 7 K. Prettydominant outing. He caught my eye when they signed Him back in March - we had heard quite favorable things. Nice to see him have an outing like this.

I'm now watching the FredNats/Myrtle Beach doubleheader tonight. So far, MB 1-0 top 2nd

High-A Wisconsin is tied 1-1 in their series at Peoria and have 24-year old (25 on Sunday) RHP Tanner Gillis (1.96 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 6.6 K/9 in 64.1 High-A/Low-A IP) ready to toe the slab first tonight. 1B Tayden Hall’s 19.9% walk rate is 2nd-highest in the Midwest League after Jaison Chourio.

Pena with a laser right to the LF. Didn’t even move.

Made hit a foul that was caught over the shoulder by the 3B who then tripped over the bullpen mounds and flipped the ball behind his back into LF. Ruled a catch somehow.

14 th pitch ball 4.  Wow nice at bat Hedbert. Seeing it well and fouling off tough pitches.

Sure would be nice if Hedbert got hot. Kickstart with Pena, Made and get that offense going consistently.
