This might be the most fun Brewers season I’ve/we’ve ever seen.  Whatever happens in the playoffs happens.   If it turns out to be bad it will be disappointing but I’ll forever remember this.  I’m 46.  I teared up the other day when Collins walked off.  I’ve never done that before during a regular season game.  This has been truly incredible.

Screw that. I lived through a World Series loss and I don't ever want to have that feeling again. Anything less than a World Series championship will be a failure to me, regardless of how things are going now.

Maybe let Sal rest the hammy for the rest of this game?

Seriously, don't push it. He doesn't know how to go anything other than 100%.

They should let him sit tomorrow and give him two days rest before the long 18 game stretch.

Cubs lose 5-1 … 7.5 game lead for Brewers if the win tonight

The cubs really have one chance left.  That five game series next week

My (many) Cub fan coworkers are starting to confide in me that they worry the Cubs are in danger of crashing out of the playoffs entirely.

I dare not hope for so much as that, but ah, the Schadenfreude…

I was watching both games tonight (Brewers and Cubs)  and have tried to watch the Cubs more lately when I am able. I don't know, but that whole team looks completely disinterested in playing baseball. They might mentally just be done. They're plenty capable of making a run and they're still having a good season and have time to get things turned around but I don't know how that happens.

They really play some scrub teams the rest of the year if they ever get any confidence.    That’s why we need to crush their spirit next week

Playoffs are such a crapshoot.   We all want success in the playoffs but that won’t take away what they have done this summer.  At least not for me.

Heck, even if we only get two, they gain one whole game on us.

Also true, but three wins would give us the tie breaker so that's one free game.

Feel like we need at least 3 wins on the 8 game trip between Cincy and Chicago.  Kind of a dangerous road trip, but if we get through it that’s a huge step.

Brewers have a tough schedule coming up. This definitely isn’t over yet.

take it one game at a time

We may never get as close to a championship as we will this year. Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one. I'd like to see one before I die.
