Side note from the DraftForum -

Why the 16th round LHP did not sign.

Thanks for sharing this here. I had lost track of this year's Draft thread. Nice to hear from him.

So lots of hits allowed but 7 ks for Gasser?

I don't think I'd call 6 H in 5 IP 'lots'. The K's is very encouraging. I've also come to the personal conclusion I don't know what to make about any of our rehabbing Big League arms at Nashville in 2025. I trust Bob's stuff inherently. I especially trust it given how well his rehab has gone given the injury. He's certainly a really nice storyline right now given the injuries in Milwaukee.

Jeferson Quero has been awesome of late, but there are some red flags here in terms of what the Brewers organisation looks for:

Yeah, really looking forward to Quero getting another offseason past his surgery and further strengthening of his shoulder coming into ST.

Same with Boeve.

@Jake McKibbin - ignorance here on my part. What are the red flags? I assume average EV is one, right? but what else as I’m still trying to I understand these (the pitching charts are way way over my feeble head)

And this is the whole AAA season - I wonder if things like EV have some splits since he was up then hurt and back again and seems like those things are much better the past 30,days or so.

or anyone can chime in to help this old man understand.

What happened to yoho as a prospect?

Still dominating AAA, among 194 pitchers in the International League with at least 40 IP his 1.04 ERA is the lowest and his 2.64 FIP is 4th lowest.

He’s also the only pitcher in the International League with at least 40 IP not to allow an HR all year.

Hasn’t shown enough command to stick in his MLB looks though. Maybe he gets another shot in September.
