Keller will have to be stellar

TO

have enough to overcome Woodruff!

Brandon will be the last man standin'

AND

Keller will be reminded of why his team's in the cellar!

If we go .500 the rest of the way (10-10) ... that gets us to 97 wins and the Cubs would need to go 16-5 to overtake us.

It would be great to go 12-8 or 13-7 (100 wins!) or something and not make it interesting for anyone... but just win every other at a minimum and it will take a Herculean effort from Counsell and Co to do it.

Firmly in the driver's seat... just don't panic, play good baseball and for goodness sake stay healthy.

Yeppers!

My calculation tells me our magic number to clinch the division is 16.

What is the latest on Hoskins? I can't find any updates.  Does anyone know? He's also on my roto team, and everyday it just says he's due back any day, it's said this all week.

edit never mind I just found an article saying the Brewers "like the lineup" the way it is and won't make a decision probably till the 9th.

He's enjoying some primantis and an IC light

If the Brewers don't win the division I should be banned. However, they will.

Look at Jorge Alfaro helping the Brewers out this year after all with an RBI knock against the Cubbies...

Nats need nine more outs. I don’t know much about their bullpen, though.

Collins & Yeli are out of lineup

Of course, Bauers & Perkins are playing today

Quit stringing us along and just put him on the IL like we know you're going to do.

The BP looks to be in great shape from the left side. It'll be interesting to see what's done when a RH is needed in the 6th-7th-8th.

Fedde?

That might help them actually

Tucker is banged-up too, in his own Yelich situation. Doesn't seem bad enough for an IL stint, but also doesn't seem like he'll play this Nats series.

I guess they prefer the lefty in Bauer to Hoskins? I don't really get it? What am I missing here? Legit curious.

The Bauers from April/May with OPS over .800 would be nice. I think they are giving Bauers one last look before recalling Hoskins next week.

Re: Yelich.. unless he feels like he is going to play in the next 48 hours.. just IL him and get him right for October. We will hold onto the 1 seed without him ... but we are not winning it all without him. Call up Hoskins so he can get 60 at bats as a DH and be ready to smash it in the post season as well.
