Fedde nearly got through it. Reynolds’ at bat was the tough hitter who wouldn’t be put away.

Now Rob Z for Cruz is the matchup play.

Possible……but they are also being careful with him ……you can’t just expect 100 pitches for him every outing like pre surgery……at least not yet.

Better to take Woody out an inning too early than an inning too late. I imagine Murphy doesn't want him to go past 90 pitches.

Yeah.  He looked like he was laboring a bit in the 6th, missing spots a bit.  Fatigue was setting in.  I think Murph learned his lesson a couple starts ago when Woo had a good one going through 5 and it went horribly in the 6th that day.

It’s insane what we are trying to finish the season in the stretch run.   Using the Bauers sieglers Fedde etc.    this team is a piece of work.    If they finish off this regular season this is one of the most memorable seasons of my lifetime
