I frankly can't see how Gasser AND Miz could be off the post season roster given Woody is basically done. The bullpen is not full of names I trust so at least give me big arms.

What's this about Woody?!?? What did I miss?!

That's another problem this team has. We have Peralta, Priester, and who else in our starting rotation? How many bullpen games can this team play to the World Series title?

Our pitching hope rests on throwing up to four guys into the postseason when they would be in Appleton or Nashville on rehab assignment if it were the regular season.

Quintana, Hall and Megill are all going to be good to go. Peralta, Priester, Uribe, Ashby, Mears, and Koenig are all locks.

That leaves 2-3 spots for Zastryzny, Miz, Patrick, Myers, Anderson, Fedde, and Gasser. That’s assuming Henderson isn’t a go.

Plenty of guys who could get a nod over Miz and Gasser.

Right now I'd rather have Myers than Anderson.

It will take 6 or 7……*****.

I agree.  I don't think they have a choice but to include one of them.  The end of the pen is pretty sketchy at this point.  I suspect it'll be Miz but it's probably by default at this point.

So... Is it time already to pick my next favorite team for the WS?

Only semi ironic. 😕

Growing up in SoCal, I was a Dodgers and Angels fan so I rooted for them. The Kirk Gibson home run is one of my finest memories in sports. But baseball has changed so much since then that I can't stomach seeing them win or any large market team.

That's a good sign from Chourio.  Could see it coming the last couple of days.  He's just got to relax a little bit, but he's had some good at bats.

This game, this series is ugly but there are a few good signs since the 3rd.

So you are going 14/12? Idk man I've seen all I need to out of Zastryzny and Fedde. I know I'm being unfair on Rob probably but it is what it is. Don't see how you could take Patrick and Myers either. If it were me I'd take 13, but if it had to be 12 then from your list give me Miz, Patrick, and Anderson.

You only “need” 3 starters and they already have them with Peralta, Priester, and Quintana.

If you want a 4th for length, Patrick has a way better case than Miz or Gasser.

Would be absolutely shocked if the Brewers carry 13 pitchers. Some projections have them taking 11 with the days off which I think is too few. I think it’ll be 12.

I agree with the logic of this, but you're assuming Quintana, Hall and Megill are ready to go.  I honestly don't excpect all three will be.  I hope you're right!  And I agree that if they are then maybe neither Gasser or Miz make the roster.  I'll give you that.

I should say normally I'd take 12 but with things the way they are now I think we'll need all the arms we can get.
