If you need to be up by 6 to trust Miz, what the heck is he doing on the playoff roster ?

I wouldn’t have him on the roster. Clearly Murph feels differently

maybe there is a good return for a top pitcher like Peralta.

Would you take the equivalent of DL Hall and Joey Ortiz or perhaps a little bit less? I’m fine with Peralta staying. He is affordable, reliable and likeable.

This game is weird.   The crowd is absolutely dead.  Almost feels like we’re down 9-2.   Nothing happening since Jackson went out.

On the plus side from what I can tell, it’s definitely a pro-Brewer crowd relative to how crowds usually go at Am-Fam.

More Cub fans than the visiting team usually has of course, but definitely outweighing them by plenty.

He will be nowhere near affordable to the Brewers. We have to trade him in the offseason. We'll get a good haul in return, I believe.

Affordable next season, that is. Take the draft pick. 🤷‍♂️

I agree unless they get an incredible offer for him.

I think Blake Perkins has seen 493 pitches this game.

That's not how small market teams compete with the big boys.

It depends what you can get.

It’s still only a year of control. Burnes brought us Hall and Ortiz. It is hard to see it being more than that kind of comparable.

Hard to say. Sometimes you don't know the results of trade for years.

I was going to say if Chourio can dh that’s fine.   But you have to be able to run the bases

Can't imagine you can execute a major league AB with a bad hammy.

My hunch is they will keep Peralta and take the draft pick.

The tbs broadcast has some weird audio going on where they're toning down the audience audio except when there is contact

Maybe that’s why it sounds so dead.   I know there’s not a whole lot to cheer about right now but damn.

Yeah, I think this postseason is exactly why you keep Peralta. Where would this team be right now without him? Number one seed, all that potential, but also all that early SP depth up in smoke, but Freddy is just Mr. Dependable. Hard to put a value on that.

Eh, There was a noticeable difference when ChOurio went out.

It has been nice to count on Peralta for 30 to 35 starts per season

Yep.   That’s why i wouldn’t disparage the guy.  He shows up.   Compared to other brewer pitchers.
