8 innings from both Snell and Yamamoto. I’m not sure the last time we had a pitcher go 8 innings and the Dodgers did it on back to back days.

Had to steal yesterday to stay in this. Didn’t do it. Hate to put it on one guy, but Turang had a shot to be a hero and failed miserably on two straight pitches.

Its why teams are still willing to shell out $30+M bucks a year for a top of the rotation starter, even in today's game - you hope they stay healthy and you can lean on them in playoff series.

The Dodgers have 4 of them.

I don’t want to hear sh*t about the payroll anymore.  Payroll wasn’t an issue three months ago when  they chased Yamamoto in the 1st inning, and tonight the approaches have been unworthy of a winning team, much less at 97-win one.  It’s okay to admit they’ve **** the bed last two games.

I hope this can put to bed we don't need any big time bats. I know money is tight for Mark but put some of this playoff money into some legit bats for the middle of the order. If Ortiz shows up at short in the spring.....

Pollyanna optimism doesn’t make the team any better either

Being realistic isn’t necessarily negative

I love the Brewers & want them to win

Losing two home games 2-& going on the road for three games in a seven game series leaves me little room for optimism

No, not Pollyanna optimism (though things did work out for her)... I know we have our backs against the wall.

But teams never win a championship if they give up when things get hard.  Why should I?

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

So what. It's a harmless thing to argue about.

Feel free to argue about it.  I encourage a good discussion... but do it without the insults.

Well, that's the thing. If you do that against the Cubs the spade is called a spade, but you do it against the Dodgers and it's obviously because they have so much money.

I'm not saying that's wrong, but it's not hard to look at the Dodgers last 15 years and see a looooot of October losing to supposedly inferior teams. Really, the Dodgers should have a lot more wins there than they do. I think we're probably letting the Brewers off the hook a bit. We are absolutely less talented, but this offense didn't help itself at all either night.

This Dodger pitching is very good.  They've made more expensive lineups look pretty bad.

I still have optimism against my better judgement that the travel day is good for us and we show up in LA with a little energy. Maybe get 2/3 and get it back home. Idk. Not expecting it but this team has fought all year.

I dunno. They’ll fight but they are pretty outmanned.

I’d like to just not get swept. Make them take it to 5 and at least threaten to take it back to Milwaukee.

Be funny if the Dodger players were causing a salary cap for themselves right now in 3 years and they don’t even know it right now.

This seems really dumb on Robert's behalf... up 4 runs and still have your starter going over 100 pitches?

At some point, the BP is going to be rusty (if we ever get a starter out early...)

Might as well get swept.  Then our focus can go to the Packers which will inevitably break our heart as well

The player's union won't allow a salary cap. And maybe baseball doesn't need one. There are some interesting plans out there to create parity that maybe the owners can live with.

If the Dodgers rotation was fully healthy this year they win 120 games

Not sure the Packers are good enough to break hearts. For better or worse.

They've been that kind of team nearly every year and their current regime has won exactly one championship out of it. Last year. That COVID clown show doesn't count.

Just awful at bats…..we haven’t seen this in a while from our offense.  Can’t score unless we hit a HR.  Just crazy short at bats, no infield hits, bunts.
When all else fails, blame the crowd and the big market team.  I blame us first.  Neither has been an issue all year.  I blame maybe the weather 2nd!  When weather has been slightly colder in April/May and September/October, we are a .500 team.  When weather is hot, in summer, we have been stellar.

A trip to LA may be just what we need.
