Not when it was very specifically directed at your division rival that flies a flag after every game, that you just played and beat. It doesn't have anything to do with the Dodgers. The Cubs can't say a meaningful word about it. They lost to us. Just some stupid banter, I chuckled at it and never thought about it again. It's not like it said "We're going all the way, look out LA"

Just think anyone making any kind of deal out of it is being a little too serious. It's a sport.

It’s no more or less of a deal than anyone who believed in “Uek magic”. I understand it didn’t “really” affect anything, but baseball is a funny sport like that and you end up in a lot of situations that seem to have some irony in them.
