At least now we can stop talking about Collins providing depth at a # of positions. If Mitchell continues to be a no-show/K machine & we don't add to the OF, the possibility exists that we might miss Collins---as an OF. To the FO I think the idea of him providing depth at 2B-3B had long since sailed.

This........................................................THIS!

Mears has 1.93 ERA. Collins has a really rough start to the season and is now up to a 111 OPS+.

This one is looking really, really rough. Both Mears and Collins would have been useful so far this season.

Yeah, I didn't like it and as it turned out, I it looks particularly bad as we REALLY could have used a RHed OF bat and a solid RHed reliever in the pen but moreso after Chourio went down.

Reading this thread, I am perfectly fine with people who say 'I trust the Brewers.' They've earned it. There's a little 'how dare you question them,' that... is a bit much, but... whatever.  @biedergbpointed out a couple trades I didn't love. But they're not all going to be winners.

At least the Durbin trade looks like an absolute steal. Hate giving up another comp pick, but for what appears to be two really good, solid above average looking arms, take the L with KC and the W with the Boston deal thus far. Even Hamilton has been alright(compared to Durbin).

I agree with you . The Durbin trade looks like a homerun so far. This trade doesn’t look good, but by no means am I bumping it to criticize the FO or say that Arnold isn’t doing a good job.

We often praise the ones that work out, so it’s only fair to note the ones that don’t. No one is batting 1.000, but Arnold is batting above league average.

They clearly loved something they saw in Zerpa and were willing to overpay for it thinking they could fix him. Hopefully, lesson learned.
