They were 8th in scoring defense. Your standards are trapped in like 1999.

Gimme a break. Scoring Defense? Who cares? They played a bunch of doormats.

Besides Goff which good QBs did they beat? Winston? Brissett? Flacco?

dang  that absolutely sucks for Willis

Scoring defense means points. Yeah, who cares about that!

They were 5th in yards per rush. 6th in total yards. The defense was good. It's not really debatable. I could engage this "who did they play" thing but I know the difference between someone trying to make a point and someone just spleen venting disingenuously.

I'm as big a fan of Jacobs as anyone. I really like him and his heart, but he should be released this summer.

Best thing you’ve said all night.

Why the hell is Bo Milton in the game there?  I mean, I get it with all the backups - but WHY is he on the field over any of the other receiver options ahead if him on the depth chart??

Matthew Golden exists and we’re throwing passes to Bo Melton.

it's almost like losing a top five defensive player in the league causes the defense to be worse.

Golden must have awful practice habits or something. I don't know. But he either absolutely sucks or did something to upset LaFleur. He may as well have been sent to the minors this year.

He still gets open routinely when he's actually on the field.  And he catches the ball when it's thrown to him.

I simply don't get it - i think it will take the Packers moving on from Doubs to get him more opportunities, and that better happen this offseason

I think BAL has run on 3rd and 4 or 5 like 5 times.

The sad thing is if GB hadnt turned the ball over they'd probably be winning.

This game should put to bed any talk of the Packers going on a run and comps to 2010. The injuries aren't the same. There was a quantity of injuries that year but they were not on par with the significance of these.

This is a dead team walking and unfortunately they will be put out of their misery by the Bears. A cruel fate for a season that looked promising just two weeks ago.  I do hope it's the end for LaFleur. The schtick has run dry. Please don't make the mistake of running it back because of injuries. This guy isn't the answer.

It's definitely the latter. Just another reason MLF should be fired. Not using him all season is coaching malpractice. I can't think Gute is happy his first round investment is an afterthought in the coaches mind.

There's plenty of reasons for him to be let go

I don't think you can blame injuries and then also blame MLF

This defense and probably team overall is simply soft both physically and mentally.  That’s a reflection on LaFleur.  I have defended LaFleur but it’s not working.

They didn’t beat Hurts, Prescott, Nix, split against Caleb Williams.

Beat Goff twice, split against Flacco, beat McCarthy, Rodgers, Winston, Brissett and Jayden Daniels… big group of studs there.

When the dust clears on the season they will have beat just 2 (Chicago, Pittsburgh) maybe 3 (Detroit) winning teams.

But hey it’s the metrics that says their great even though 9 games their defense had negative expected points….

Regardless of the injury circumstances, but five straight losses in a “all-in” season, with the last one coming in Chicago, should probably get a coach canned. I’m more inclined to defend him than most here, it seems, but I’m not sure I can defend that.
