Eagles are done.  Roseman did the right thing by trading away Cam Jurgens when he did.  I actually kind of like Tanner McKee as a backup QB.  Having to stick him in there for a month is a scenario I could live with as a GM.  But starting over a 12-game stretch, and now having to dig out of a 2-4 hole...the Eagles are done.  Hate to pile that all on McKee because he's only 1 guy, but with the problems they've encountered with the rest of the roster and their chances are slim and none.  Between the Eagles getting KO'ed and the Rams floundering, the Packers are looking a lot better.  I'm convinced that San Francisco is a plus-plus team.  Vikings still have Kyler Murray and the worst safeties in the NFL, and while I really like their roster when looking at the whole of it, those couple spots could doom them like the offensive line could still doom Green Bay.

Whenever we complain about MLFs game management, just remember, it could be worse. Dan Quinn could be our coach.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

Totally. It was horribly mismanaged. I mean, when they're talking about him not going on the IR because he's week to week....I was extremely confused. And then finding more clots? Yikes.

If he has to go on blood thinners, his career is likely over.

I was diagnosed with PE, put on thinners with the explicit written statement from the doctor "No football".

People keep saying this on various sites and it is just not true. Not everyone has to be on blood thinners permanently. The only reporting on it has said the opposite, that he'll conclude treatment and resume football. The blood thinners are the risk not the clot itself. It causes the bleeding risk that could kill him. If he's on them temporarily, he can resume his career.

I've seen that as well. But still, it's quite scary and definitely puts things in perspective, at least I hope so, for a 28 year old young man who is healthy.

The hits just keep coming for the LA Rams... Davante Adams ruptures his hamstring.  I've never heard of a ruptured hamstring...sounds pretty painful. Out 6-12 weeks, which is more like a sever pull, but still.  Time to record more Taco Bell commercials...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

They were once combined and we saw how that went.

Great day for the NFL today-

1.  Player going to retrieve a firearm from his vehicle after an incident with a teammate is not a criminal offense.

2.  Player speaks after returning from a 6-game suspension (actually, a paid vacation) for domestic violence, says he is a good person.

3.  Player talks about two domestic violence arrests in June, within a 7 day span, says he has no excuses.

NFL is even more mediocre than usual, and that's saying a lot.  Browns are now 5-2, so I was figuring they would probably be moving into the tough part of their schedule right about now.  Go take a look, there is nothing that even resembles a tough part of the schedule.  Seriously, try to figure out what their two toughest back-to-back games are.  Just kind of pitiful when you think about it.
