LHP Nate Peterson, grabbed in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft by Cincinnati, gets the start for Louisville in the Nashville twinbill. It'll be his first AAA appearance of 2026, after five outings (four starts) at AA, stats at the linked name above.

As for the others lost in Rule 5 last December -

UT Zavier Warren, Cincinnati - toiling in the AA Southern League for a 5th season

LHP Caden Vire, Boston - 60-day IL, yet to debut

OF Hedbert Perez, Toronto - 7-day IL, yet to debut

What is the ACL schedule like I thought they went Tuesday-Sunday like all the other teams. I can't find a schedule online. Do they play 3 game series and then have an off day?

Looks like it yeah. There were a few ACL teams playing yesterday though. Maybe make-up games or something.

Could Wednesdays be used to balance out the schedule (I could be wrong, but I think there are 15 teams)?

Man I wish they had live game footage streamed of the ACL.

They do have better statcast data than any of the other leagues at least.

You can find some highlights on social media.  This account has some highlights from the Tuesday game:

Also Luis Pena posted some seemingly old pics today. I'm hoping he's teasing his return, but who knows...

RHP Coleman Crow looks to repeat his stellar outing from last week (5.2 IP, 0 R, 7 Ks), as AAA Nashville seek a series-tying win in Louisville. This is the first game of today’s doubleheader. It’s good to see 1B Brock Wilken right back in the lineup after exiting yesterday’s game early.

19-year old RHP Tyler Renz (2.78 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, 10.3 K/9 in 22.2 IP) looks to lead the Low-A Warbirds to a 2-1 series advantage with a victory at Fayetteville tonight. RF Handelfry Encarnacion has homered in 4 of his last 5 games.

AA Biloxi have dropped 7 consecutive games and are in last place in the 8-team Southern League, but their run differential is only -3. RHP Manuel Rodriguez (5.64 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, 8.5 K/9 in 22.1 IP) is the only 20-year old pitcher in the league, facing Columbus at home this evening. 1B Blake Burke is tied for 1st in homers (9) and tied for 4th in stolen bases (11).

Crow tossed 89 pitches over 5.2 IP, allowing 1 run and no extra base hits. He registered 4 strikeouts and 6 groundouts, though he did allow some hard contact in the 4th inning (106.5mph line out, 100.5mph fly out, 105.3mph line out).

Other than a 2025 rehab stint, this is Blake Perkins' first game in AAA since June 2023. He has a 99mph fly out, 101.9mph single, 104.2mph RBI single, steal of third base and an outfield assist as positives thus far.

Craig Yoho is trying to close out a 3-1 win.

23-year old RHP Braylon Owens has been fabulous over his last 2 starts (11 IP, 1 R, 17 Ks) and seeks to lead High-A Wisconsin to a 2-1 series lead at Peoria. LF Josh Adamczewski has homered in his last 2 games, pushing his OPS to 1.051.

After winning Game 1 today, AAA Nashville get ready for the nightcap at Louisville. LHP Thomas Pannone makes his 4th appearance (3rd start). 2B Eddys Leonard has hit safely in 18 of his last 21 games.

I feel like Adamczewski is going to be the first guy in A+ called up to AA. I just wonder when it's going to be. He had about 250 PA in A before he was bumped up to A+. He's at about 160 PA in A+ so far. His PA are consistently really good. There's no red flags in his profile. He's almost 21 so it's not like this would be pushing a really young guy up.

Wilson, down 3-2 in the top of the 7th, loaded the bases with two outs. Handelfry Encarnacion lined out to left to end the inning, a tough break because three Fayetteville outs later, Mother Nature put an end to things early.

Speaking of an inning ending on a line out, LHP Mark Menfredi, Sr. made things much too interesting, as the Biloxi bullpen has done as of late, but the Shuckers finally snapped their seven-game losing streak behind starter Manuel Rodriguez, two homers by Eduardo Garcia, and a sweet game for Jesus Made (three singles and a walk).

Wisconsin 9th inning - devastating.

Definition of player development over winning - bring in RH reliever Jose Nova and his now-27.00 ERA to just get the very last out of the game with the bases loaded and a three-run lead.

It did not end well.

Either Wisconsin did not have many options in the pen today or the org is much higher on Nova than his numbers indicate because he keeps getting leverage opportunities.

After the WP, when walking back to the mound, Nova looked devastated. Went to cover the plate (as he should) and then took forever to get back to the mound with his shoulders and head slumped.

He's having a horrific start to the season hope he can get it going. I worry he might be too much inside his own head
