19-year old RHP Dariel Jaquez makes his first stateside start as the ACL Brewers host the ACL Guardians.

Jaquez had impressed in the DSL in 2024 (1.74 ERA in 31.0 IP), but missed 2025 with an injury. He struck out 4 of 7 batters in his ACL debut last week.

The AA Shuckers host Columbus for a doubleheader tonight, trailing this week’s series 2 games to 1. 21-year old RHP Bishop Letson (7.23 ERA, 1.77 WHIP, 8.7 K/9 in 18.2 IP) makes his 7th start. C Darrien Miller has a 9-game on-base streak and a 1.119 OPS in 79 PAs.

Ignoring the ratings for now, as they're almost entirely rated to velocity (and average IVB for the arm slot) but something about Mayorquin is really fascinating. Tons of whiff, six strikeouts in three innings, just an impressive all round showing from the 18 year old

BILOXI, MS – The Biloxi Shuckers and Columbus Clingstones were postponed on Saturday at Keesler Federal Park due to rain. One of the two games will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, May 10, beginning at 12:05 p.m. The other game of Saturday’s postponed doubleheader will be made up during the Clingstones next visit to Keesler Federal Park, between June 16-21. An exact time and date of the makeup will be announced at a later date.
