Apparently the driver smashed into the side of our next-door, neighbors car that was parked in front of their house and flipped over.

There were about 10 firetrucks, police cars, and ambulances that showed up, several of them just trying to get the driver out of the car. Apparently she was “OK“.

I’ve had the that happen in my neighborhood.   It’s an incredibly loud sound.

Williams has played a lot of SS in the minors. If he's promoted I suspect they'd move him there before Turang if needed.

He's played it but I'm not so sure he's played it well.  Looking at fangraphs in single A he made 18 errors in 54 games or 1 error every three games.  In 2024 in double A he cut it down to 10 errors in 50 games or one error every 5 games.  In 2025 in triple A he made 10 errors in 15 games.

With the Brewers in AAA he's made 3 errors at SS in 5 games.

I don't ever see him playing SS for the Brewers baring emergency circumstances, all other SS on the active roster are unable to play the position.  Much like Braun continuing to field at SS during batting practice before the game saying he was available in an emergency.

That didn't sound like enough games to me. BREF has him at 199 games at SS in his career; more than any other position. It shows him with 10 errors last year, but in 54 games & at the AA level. In AAA last season he played SS in 16 games with one boot.

This season, it has him with 5 games at SS & errorless.

I do agree the two they have on the roster right now are better there, as well as Pratt obviously.

That was a huge tag up from Jackson.  I didn’t think that ball was near far enough in the OF for him to tag. Great scouting and execution
