Yep, saw an update based on his outing that makes it seem like he might be up after the Reds series. He's getting stretched out now (threw over 80 pitches), but the results are just kinda average-ish. We all want old Woody to just plug in, but that's not looking likely. He is a crafty vet, though, and we could use him to at least eat some innings

When they showed he threw 80+ pitches on the broadcast last night I figured he’d start in about a week. I kinda think they’ll roll with a 6 man rotation till the all star break if Woodruff does in fact get activated next week. 
 

the one tricky part about being activated against the reds is that he will probably face the reds twice in a row. Maybe that’s not such a big deal because the reds offense is stinky, but since he’s more of a “crafty vet” At this point it would be nice if he didn’t have a second match up against the same team in the span of a week.

I still can't get over the Sal for Vaughn pinch hitting fiasco.

That was inexcusable in my eyes.

Absolutely asinine and bush league.  Made no sense last night, and makes no sense today.

1975, Yount had 44 errors.  I was doing some research this afternoon about why Yount's last game in '74 was on September 8th.  Had tendinitis in both feet.  And essentially was shut down in August that season.
