That's pitiful from the ump. Needs to be way better.

We have recourse to change it. You can’t let those go unchallenged.

I understand Pratt not challenging but that was a clear ball in real-time I thought and yeah, replay it wasn't close. Oh well.

I'm sure the team is saving them for Sanchez to use when he pinch hits.

Is there any real reason besides the fact that his name is Christian Yelich and he used to be a very big deal around here that he should be regularly continuing to bat leadoff, much less against a lefty?

Our options against LHP are ****.  He shouldn't be leading off though.

Do not question Murphy.

Prepare for a stat onslaught as to how good his record is since taking over for GREG Counsell.

Figured they'd walk Churrio.  I love Turang, but not loving him at bat here...

CHOURIO.

Misiorowski needs to get his FB up. Leaving them all down today.

yeah that one to Riley I cringed a bit right away with the location of it. Lucky it was ONLY a single.

Bases loaded and a 2-0 count and Contreras swings at ball 3 and weakly flies out.  Again, I know what the stats say but Contreras has been so disappointing offensively this year.

I'm glad Murphy is our manager and he is a BIG part of our success the last 2.5 years, but I consistently hate his lineup management

That was up and out of the zone for Ball 3. With the bases loaded and a walk driving in a run, I would have liked to see Contreras be a little more selective than that on a 2-0 count.

I don't have the answer - the only thing I came up with a week+ ago when we were talking about this was that Yelich has (had?) good numbers hitting from the 1 spot since coming back from injury and Brice had great numbers in the 3 hole more so than Brice leading off and Yelich hitting 3rd earlier this year.

What those numbers look like now after the last 7-10 days I am not sure. I think the question is valid.
