I agree, but fans overreacting to the crack of the bat is universal so saying that Cubs fans are especially ignorant is misguided.

They should be criticized instead for being insufferable jack…rabbits.

This business about some fans being more "knowledgeable" than other fans. It's not a competition.

We are sure making Bryse “scrap heap” Wilson work hard.

Half of our hits against him have been by the guy some on here are saying is a platoon bat.

Feels like we’ve missed some big opportunities already with runners on 2nd or 3rd and less than 2 outs

That's because we have.

So a rookie with no MLB experience?

I’m sorry, what? Are MLB players dropped off by a stork into the stadium for their MLB debuts with 5 years experience already under their belt, or do they have to actually get an opportunity first and then potentially become good players?

I guess Pratt needs to get his butt back down to Nashville and we’ll have to talk to the Padres and see what we need to give up to get Rengifo back.

Just to rub salt in the wounds, with nobody on base both Chourio and Turang produced results that would have been useful in their previous at bats.

No question these hitters are now  pressing.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

The original post was the Brewers need some clutch hitters. Lara is your choice?

I don’t know if he’s a clutch hitter yet, but he’s definitely available, which was the other qualification. And with the way the offense has been going, we need to try something to get a spark, just like we did with Pratt.
