Getting one with the mostly intact bullpen for tomorrow is big.  Figure Megill unavailable, Patrick could go.  Great outing by Drohan, pitching without run support and 2 of 3 runs given up were on the defense behind him.  Perhaps they can get a good scout on a starter for a change and get some early runs.  Wonder if Hamilton will be ok or if we'll see Jett or Leonard.  Even better, IL Yelich and get a AAA bat of choice in since he's painful to watch right now.

I don’t understand how the brewers are winning games anymore.    Earlier in the year the brewers were just good.    But they aren’t even playing like that anymore.   Their play and hitting is piss poor but they win

starting pitching just masks everything

The Crew are 23 over.500. Just insanely good first half so far. I’m just glad to be able to watch winning baseball. Makes the summer so much more enjoyable.

Earlier I asked how do they have the record they do…this game is a prime example of why.  Pitching keeps it close.  Have one good inning offensively.   Win the ball game.

I honestly don’t think most people watch baseball outside of the game the Brewers are playing. The Crew are a complete team. They don’t play like it everyday but they are really good in all facets. Most teams are not.

It would be epic if the small market Brewers sent Yelich to NYM with a partial pay down on his ugly salary to clear a roster spot for a young, dynamic bat. I’d love & celebrate that trade.
