They don’t.  Fanspo has a great breakdown of the picks the Bucks have.  They don’t own their own pick until 2031 without a swap.

I still standby the 2014-2016 76ers as the talent level for this team.  I wouldn’t expect the Bucks to be any better than a 20-25 win team if they even get that many wins.  

Well, wishful thinking. 25 seemed realistic, but I thought maybe a new coach that was allegedly good might be able to grit them to mid 30s and near a play-in. They're not even close to that.

They will lose any draft picks as punishment for the Gary Trent Jr. debacle.  What the heck?

Our 1st round pick is a pick swap with NO (currently 4-4) but is top 4 protected. As long as we don't lose the pick to a Trent penalty it looks like a decent chance we will be in the top 4. It did take the league over a year (pretty sure) to investigate and rule on the Kawhi penalty for the Clippers so I wouldn't be surprised if there is a penalty that it isn't until after next years draft.

I find it a strange catch 22 when thinking about tanking, i think tanking might actually mean playing Turner, Kuz, and Green. I think Ware, Ament, and Burries (Jak, Deing, Sims as well) are much better than the vets. It seems obvious that we will deal Herro and maybe Rollins if he plays a bit better.

Does the first-round swap happen before or after the lottery drawing? It would be funny if the swap happened before, but the ping-pong ball bounced our way and we ended up with the higher slot.

It’s done once the draft order is known so after the ping pong balls.

If the Bucks get hit with a draft pick loss it will be the 2031 or 2032 pick or both.

I figured... just thought it would be funny if they swapped prior. 

GTJ - 12.5 min in 2 games with 6 DNP-CD.  The FA contract looks more embarrassing by the (benched) minute.
