Hard to compare what the Brewers would have had to give up since the Dodgers gave up pitching prospects but in terms of comparable prospect list values, we would have had to give up Pena, Jett Williams, and Ethan Dorchies. Something like that.

You guys know that kid in little league whose dad was the coach so he always played and hit high in the order even though he wasn’t very good?

We have one of those on the Brewers.

Not a baseball story but my brother was in 8th grade basketball and I was in 7th grade.  Our games would typically be played back to back.  My team played first and then his would play after.  So I'm in the stands watching his game and the coach's son is on his team.  So one of the guys passes his son the ball on the wing, maybe 5 feet in front of the 3 point line, nobody is guarding him because the other team knows he sucks.  What does the kid do?  He shuffles his feet, no joke, maybe 20 times to get behind the 3 point line to shoot.  The ref blows the whistle, takes the whistle out of his mouth and audibly laughs at how ridiculous the whole sequence was.  I later got a technical from the same ref because my brother took a charge and he called a block and I called him out on his ******** call.

Hahaha.   River Ryan included in trade.   The dodgers have the fakest “prospects” in all of baseball.     Honestly **** them

Is that the pitching prospect who is almost 28? I don’t know anything about him if he’s just got this great power arm or if his status is completely just Dodger boosted.

Say what you will about his celebration Abner is not boring.

His celebrations are corny and I don't quite understand many of them.  That said, I like them all, especially if they're playing the Cardinals.  F' them.

Well, we obviously could have beat that offer, so this tells me that Matt Arnold kept his head, and said screw you tigers...

I'm glad the chase is over. Get a bullpen piece and a 3-4 level starter. I'd love Abrams and put him at third.

No need now...

Stand pat, see what happens and hope 2028 is our year...

I would have done that I think.

Was the kids name Keith?

In high school I played in a rec league and the dude would do the same thing constantly and the ball would either be a complete air ball or go over the hoop.  Every time.

I’m going to be pretty pissed if Lara is suddenly behind Lockridge in the OF pecking order.

I assume they are just trying to get him acclimated and are not playing him because he passed Lara.

Bauers might have the best swing mechanics on the team. Most of the youngsters that are coming up have pretty decent swing mechanics Pratt and Lara in particular.

Obviously would take more but I would definitely move Frelick for Mason.

It’s just so ridiculous.  The dodgers have these overrated prospects and the tigers are like “look you need to match this and that with what the dodgers are offering”.

while we have real prospects and the dodgers are a bunch of dudes that are overhyped and never amount to ****

Miller would be insane, and he's controlled for 3 more years.  Supposedly it has to be Made, and that might be the only price I wouldn't be willing to pay.
