Lol Gary. What are you even looking for? With 2 men on?

how is the situational hitting so terrible on this team?

Whatever happened to PROTECTING the plate?

That was just such a terrible AB.

Took a hanging slider right down the middle, did nothing with a middle middle splitter, then took a 2 strike pitch in nearly the same spot.

Well, here's the thing. The Blue Jays didn't beat the Dodgers. The Dodgers won the World Series. The Dodgers have the most talent in baseball. They have the Stars to rise to the occasion and turn it up when it matters most. I agree with you October is all that matters and how a team is playing at the end of their season. Have the Brewers inspired any confidence since the last week before the All Star Break? Have the Brewers ended their seasons the past two years playing their best baseball? I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer - really, I'm not. But, man alive, they kind of show us their true colors every season whether we want to admit it or not.

I appreciate your honest posts. I’m not a fan of being overly positive or negative. I align with what you’ve written here & earlier in this thread.

I don’t consider myself to be an optimist or a pessimist … more so a realist. The Brewers have a great record. That said, they aren’t playing crisp, fundamentally sound baseball. They aren’t hitting the ball well or scoring enough runs recently.

I've never considered this to be their year as much as I want that to be true. I do believe our future (the next 5-7 years) is bright … possibly our best stretch ever if we can avoid significant injuries.

So you would be surprised if we win 1 game out of our next 5, including this one that we currently lead 2-1 in the 8th inning.

Come on.

And even if we swept the Dodgers or lose all 4 to them it has zero affect on what happens in October.

This team is gonna make the playoffs. Whether it’s division or wild card who knows but they’re making the playoffs. That’s all it takes in October

I don't know how you can say that when we could potentially have to play a 3 game series to make it to the Divisional Round and if we advance past the wildcard, we would not be able to set up our pitching staff the way we want and have less rest than our opponent.

How is this not Uribe time?

Starting to wonder if Uribe is still down due to the number of pitches he threw in back to back games vs the Twins.

This could be it also. He threw 55 back to back a few days ago
