5-1 last 6 games vs dodgers and Braves

The Crew is a really good team. Our fanbase is just ridiculously emotional game to game. Wild card or bust, Cubs catching the Crew last this week. We suck.

Remember when a lot of people here wanted Bauers gone last year and I was one of the only supporters of him?

Fun times

AHEM!

Whatever you want to credit---Hook & Henderson, the poise, refusal to give in to hitters, the catchers----we've had two starts in a row where guys weren't at their very best but at the end of the day a combined 12 innings & one run allowed. In many ways that's even more impressive than when you're at the top of your game & getting chases. Can't say enough.

It looked like Pratt & Lara had really confident days today as well, on both ends.

Hall showed what he can do when he can get & stay ahead. Nice win all around.

They have some real work to do to accomplish one prediction; that they were going to be four games out of 1st heading into Chicago.

Then some of the old timers get upset when they get called out for their insane takes. But, but, but the IGTs have always been like this.

WHEW!!!!

Ashby never makes it look easy... 🤢😵‍💫😝🙂

Often seems that way but I thought he looked very good today. Two well-placed ground balls. He refused to walk Dubon which I was impressed by, even though Dubon snuck one through.

Tomorrow will be interesting vs their lefty swingers if it's close. Don't know if they want to go back to Ashby, and I don't think Hall has worked back-to-back this year.

I think it is OK to express positive and negative emotions during the same inning. 🙂

Austin Riley fall off will be studied

Riley’s hitting coach - former Texas Longhorn SS & MLB infielder, Mike Brumley - died in a car wreck last year. Mike was a close friend of mine.

By the nature of the beast they probably always will. Popular feature on fan boards but not for everyone.

Agreed. Positive yes, negative yes, but we have the insane takes.

I think 99% of people here realize this is a really good team, while also acknowledging that the regular season results are relatively meaningless in relation to what it means for our chances in the postseason against the same team (we were 6-0 against the Dodgers in the regular season last year).

The missing piece the success puzzle is and has always been that trip to the World Series. It doesn’t mean the season is a failure without that, but I can understand the skeptics on taking that final step until they can get over the hump and prove otherwise.

Last season was a step in the right direction. Before that the narrative was even closer to “they can’t win in the playoffs at all.” Beating the Cubs was a big deal.

Three instances of back-to-back games for Hall this year. Most recently, 8/5 and 8/6 against Pittsburgh.

Where in the hell is this cardinals reliever?   Like what kind of trade was that.

That was a deal for what's to come. They knew when they made the trade that he wasn't available for awhile.

Maybe he pitches well, maybe not. But it's not like they were screwed into taking someone they didn't know was coming off an appendectomy. And May was the main piece.

Sure. But that’s part of being a fan. I trust there are a variety of perspectives expressed by any fan base that don’t align with evidence. You shrug and smile and get ready for the next bite of the apple 🍎

You're right. I've just always had a hard time differentiating between a knee-jerk reaction at the ballpark or watching at home, and actually typing some of this stuff out. Whatever🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

Well said.... You really are the voice of reason around here.

Seems like everybody.. myself included... can get overly reactive at times.

I think all fans are emotional. It's not unique to Brewer fans

I mean what teams can match up against the Dodgers when they have a 800M payroll and can defer money for years down the road?
