Huira's swing mechanics were never going to work long term.

Two completely different players … Huira hit for some power in the minors, but nothing close to what Fisher has done in his first professional season.

Not sure Fischer will ever be a quality MLB player but I hope the Brewers work with him on his two primary deficiencies: strikeouts & in zone whiffs.

He also needs to find a defensive position. Maybe he’ll be ready to take the DH role when Yelich’s contract (finally) expires.

Maybe there should be threads to talk about minor league players, especially when they are not going to be playing on the Brewers this season.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Maybe this is just my perception, but from what I’ve seen of Lara, it seems like he starts to get into a pretty good groove with regular playing time. When he starts getting a lot of days off like he had in the last week, he struggles to get it going again.

This plate ump sucks.

Yup, and of course Sanchez picked the wrong pitch to challenge so now we have to be gun shy til late.

If you had told me that Mitchell would stay healthy all season and still be in the single digits in HRs in September, I never would have believed you. I thought a decent amount of power was going to be one of his calling cards,

He has had a decent year but nothing earth shattering. I could see him being a trade piece in the offseason.

Such a treat seeing both of our big Cardinal trade acquisitions give up majestic moonshots tonight.

Jo Jo's wasnt that bad of a pitch. Just guessed right.

A righty reliever with a 6.50 ERA just threw Turang a 2 strike hanging slider that couldn’t have been more in the middle of the plate and Turang just whiffed at it.

This made me happy

Reminds me of the early 2000's Brewers.  Man could they hit home runs with Prince, Rickie, Braun, Sexson, Burnitz, Jenkins, Hart, Cameron, Lee and Hardy.  Probably missed a few but I think I got all of them.  Then you had no named pitchers and cast offs other than Sheets, Gallardo and briefly with Sabathia.

The Brewers had one magical year with Greinke, Gallardo and Marcum where it was a decent rotation.  Actually the Cubs remind me of the 2011 Brewers.  Though I think Greinke, Gallardo and Marcum was a slightly better rotation than what the Cubs have right now.  The Cubs have the advantage on offense I think but not sure by how much.

He hits the ball hard but his launch angle is ****.
