You needed 6 yards to get in FG range. You could have called timeout with 20 seconds left and then run a play on 4th and 5 to try to get in range.  Even if you don’t get it, the Jets only have 10-15 seconds left in their own territory.

In a world where there's a third possession in overtime receiving is good.  However, I haven't seen many overtimes have 3 or more.
