As long as Cappy's ok, I see no reason to pull him. Our bullpen has been taxed lately, and you never know when they're going to be needed for extended duty again.

I know, but this is probably the best played game the Crew has had this year. Timely hitting, stellar D, great pitching.....I was hoping we could go one game thread without complaining about something...and it was a lefty pitcher in there at the time. I'm sure that had something to do with it.

Our bullpen has been taxed lately

 

JDLR has pitched 1 inning in 5 days...6 if you count the day off. The kid needs work and this was a PERFECT position to put him in. Why tax your STARTER who's already got the game in the bag? Let the kid pitch...even if he gives up 4 runs we're still up by 6.
