I'll be watching, but I assume it's the Reds' feed. All it took was a righty and Krynzel is in there. My early take is that his stance looks totally different from when I criticized it in the Fall League. Now he has more bend at the waist. Before he used to look too upright, causing him to slap at the ball almost like David Hulse used to. Now it looks much more athletic, like Troy O'Leary or Griffey.

Krynzel in RF while Podsednik's in CF bothers me quite a bit. If Krynzel and Pods are going to be in the same OF in 2004, Dave should be allowed to play his natural position, and the one he excels at. While Scotty's improved marginally on his CF defense, Ned shouldn't worry about hurting his feelings, and just play him in RF to see how versatile he is.

That makes sense Square, but perhaps Dave's better defense will suit him better in the short-term since balls to right or left have far more side-spin than balls to CF.

Ben seems to like the inside corner to lefties (and outside to righties), just not getting any calls there.

And a huge curve on his second pitch to Dunn...wow

Good to see some life again by the club. A strong finish would be nice...would give us 4 winning months. Something to build on.

Come on Russell!

wow, great job by Krynzel. Thought he was robbed by Casey, then he just hustled down the line and there was no chance for Hancock to beat him to the bag

Yay, Russell.

Li'l Ben reminds me a lot of Big Ben. With Sheets, the difference between him in the first half of 2004 and the rest of his career is the ability to throw the curve for a strike at any time. With Hendrickson, you can see the curve (just like Sheets the other 3+ seasons), but you can see that he's struggling to locate it.

Gotta love The Muscle. 19 RBI, 84 AB.

To put that in perspective, if he'd been playing all year, he would hypothetically have about 110 RBI right now.

Whats up with Pods, he's not only hitting well he's been walking a ton the past week and a half. Guess the motivation of having the youngins brought up seems to be working with him.

the offense is scoring like in the first month of the season, they just have to work on the months between the first and the last. We could still be over .500 with run support and Big Ben in the hunt for the Cy Young.

Well the, if if's and but's were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas
