I like this lineup, but when healthly, sometimes Grieve instead of Clark. I agree that Clark should be batting 2nd. He's been getting on base a lot lately.

This umpire is really squeezing Ben Sheets with the strike zone. The Cubs are also hitting the ball hard so far.

Not an encouraging start.

EDIT: The Cubs continue to tee off on Sheets early in these games. Lots of first inning problems this year against the Cubs. I wonder if Sheets is tipping his pitches??

Steve Stone is commenting that Sheets has no variety in his velocity. Everything has been the same speed so far.

I can't believe Patterson made that catch. This whole season just really blows. This whole franchise really blows.

Sorry to over-react to one catch, but 12 years of this crap gets to you.

So we know whom to blame:

UMPS:

HP - Mike Everitt

1B - Larry Young

2B - Angel Hernandez

3B - Mark Wegner

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Zambrano no-hitting us through 5.

We better not get no-hit.

Oh, no. No no no no no no no no no no (ad infinitum).

At the hands of the Cubs?

Courtesy of Hothead Zambrano?

At Wrigley "falling apart" Field?

We've heard the rhetorical question, "how bad can it get?"

And this would be it, if it holds together.

Utter. Rock. Bottom.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Bill Hall walked?!

That's as unpredictable as a no-hitter.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Sheet's era now over 3 (3.03) for now.

The Cubs have blown this game wide open. Oh yeah, the Brewers have no hits so far.

Can we please get new owners now?

HELP WANTED!!!!

Hitters wanted to fill full-time position at major league stadium...Miller Park. Must be able to competently hit average or below average pitchers. Qualifications include at least 5 years Major League experience the ability to hit with power or average or both. The ability to come through in the clutch is a huge plus!!!

Those with awards or honors such as batting average titles or homerun champions are strongly encouraged to apply.

Minor Leaguers need not Apply!!!!!!!!

So why don't Bill and Darren start talking about No-Hitters like they would if it was a Brewer pitching?

C'mon Darren and Bill, jinx it!!!

Who was the last Cub to throw a no-no?

Who was the last to throw one at Wrigley?

That's what I'm talking about, just as soon as Darren stars talking about the last time Carlos Z came close, Jenkins promply dumps a 2B to left!!
