I've decided to look for a silver lining so I checked out the minor league stats looking for something good. Mark Rogers just gave up his first earned run, but he got another 5 Ks, so on the season, he has pitched 6 1/3 and gotten 13 Ks. Not too shabby for a high schooler.

Perhaps the Brewers will be able to knock Harang out and get to the Reds' weak bullpen.

That would be swell.

Edit: It would also be swell if Billy Hall came through here. He has good numbers vs Harang, too...

Wow, Zambrano is certifiable....Edmonds hit the dinger, flipped his bat a little, and Zambrano screamed at him the entire way around the bases.....i mean he is just NUTS...imagine Rob Dibble on metamphetamine and deciding between joining the Latin Kings and the Gangster Disciples, and you have Zambrano.

It was great when he K'd a guy to end the inning too, jump + big fist pump, shout, the whole deal. Oops, you're losing, Carlos.

Go Cards.

edit: HR #2, 3-0 Cards.

Jeez, the guy can't even get a triple. He sucks.

Even with the horrible offense, shouldn't there thereotically come a time, in one game, where the stars are aligned and all the formerly random hits become complementary of each other, and without an increase in offensive production, the Brewers could manage many-a-runs?

Or are the Brewers fighting against the basic laws of the universe?

Jenks, I'm begging. Hit one far.

edit: Lyle, I'm begging. Hit one far.
