Hopefully McKeon will make a double switch and put Helton in for Thome so Sheets can go 2 innings.

But, I suppose Schmidt needs to get in too

Jack just doesn't have what it takes to manage an All-Star game. He does know that this time it counts, doesn't he? At least Sheets is next. Amazing the MLB ERA leader only gets one inning.

Schmidt probably won't get in. If he does, it might only be for one batter. Anything more would too risky.

What?!? No Sheets?!?! I understand why Glavine has to be in but so does Sheets. I can't believe Pavano was in before Ben or Glavine.

And Yanni still sucks. He blows goats.

If McKeon wants to win he will insert Helton for Thome. Doesn't Rueben Studdard remind you of Mo Vaughn a little bit?

I would assume McKeon doesn't assume Schmidt is available unless in an emergency since Felipe Alou seems determined to pitch Schmidt untill his arm falls off.

Why did Pavano go 2?

Oh yeah, he's McKeon's guy.

It's McKeon's team that gets to suffer any consequence of Pavano pitching an extra inning.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Maybe the NL can tie it up!

Sheets will have to come in, go about 6 inning - with no run support, of course, and then, well... hope for the best.
