Pittsburgh was getting waaaay too comfortable at the plate.

Was listening with half an ear, but I think Schroeder used the words DL and Spivey in the same sentence. Too bad, he was playing well.

Yeah, are we the only ones who realize the danger of leaving lil' Wes (have to distinguish them somehow) in this long?

Jim Thome .297 27 HR's and 58 RBI's RC 84

Lyle Overbay .339 9 HR's and 61 RBI's RC 93

 

Thome dropped to #5 in the order today and is 0-2 with 2 K's. Luckily for his team he has a guy with an ob% of .430 hitting in front of him.

 

Overbay is having a better year than Thome imo but all the attention goes to HR's
