If someone can tell me how to get it from my DVR to my computer, I'd be willing to give it a shot.

If you have your dvr on your network it should be pretty simple. I have replay tv but its down at the moment and I can't do it.

I'll assume it was my $12 from yesterday that put the BF.net PR machine over the edge and launched the national media campaign. :)

Awesome news.

Well Fleehaw,

I have to hand it to you. My comment on that Santana thread was pretty sarcastic, but you got on ESPNNews and got the site a mention. Not bad. Congrats to you and Brian.

You might as well be talking Japanese to me with that one. From the sound of things this might not be possible. I have my cable through Time Warner and my DSL through SBC. So no network if I get that right.

Edit: Brian's got it covered!

Yup. I tuned in. Sure enough, we get the mention. Wozers, this is getting scarry.

Imagine the intimidation factor this will give the softball team!

Basically, i'm just running a huge coax cable from my bedroom DVR to the input on my video capture card. Ghetto, but it'll work nicely.

It's no suprise to me the way BrewerFan has grown and the attention it's received. This is a first class site where I can get Brewer info ahead of Everyplace else. Lots of knowlegable fans here.

Brian, just remember us little guys when BrewerFan gets Huge. Also, remember I was in the first 20 members (I think).

Very nice Brian. Good to see our inner geekiness has shown through yet again!

wow -- thats great -- too bad they didnt pick up on the "Lets worry about Fielder" thread. I think that thread is largely responsible for Fielder starting too hit http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Alright, so this is tecnically a copyrighted thing... so does anyone have a safer server that I can upload this to? I'll upload it to YouTube, but I can't guarantee that it's going to last long, given the nature of the clip.

temke donated some extra magnetic schedules to use as give aways. In celebration of this momentous event, the first person -without- a magnet schedule already to tell me who started this thread wins a schedule magnet.

I just saw the BF.net mention on ESPN and thought I'd be the first one to post this.....apparently not! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Well, I've been lurking around this site for a long, long time and I really enjoy reading so much of the conversation that takes place here. I'm not sure what word to use to describe how this site differs from most, but "Mature" comes to mind. Almost everyone here conducts themselves in a manner that seperates themselves from most message board posters. Does any of that make sense?

I guess what I'm saying is "Congrats" to bf.net - you've earned it.
