Could have been me. I turned on FSN about five seconds before the hit. Please don't make me leave the board. (Couldn't it have been Daron and Bill?)

What makes one bloody run too much to ask for?

First line of a newspaper article on the Brewers game........

"The Brewers hang-dog offense was once again stymied as Kelvim Escobar of the Angels twirled an 11 strikeout gem."

How's that?

Should Durrington be pinch-hitting for someone about now?

Actually, I think it's time for Gary Bennett to make an appearance.

I gotta say I am not thrilled with letting ben pitch the 9th. Nothing but bad can come of it. He isnt in a position to nail down the win. All he can do is send it to extras or lose it. Why let him have the chance of leaving this great performance with a bad taste in his mouth??????

Burgleflickle.

EDIT: Wow, Ben didn't look so good in his attempt at fielding there. Hope he's okay.

I loved when they showed we were 3rd last in hits with RISP,with a .233 batting average. They forgot to include thats practically our team batting average.

If Ben's outing is for naught, it will be a heart-rending loss for the Brewers, and you can blame the puny offense.

Thesaurus aside, this game seems fairly pivotal (for June). Lose and you have wasted a terrific performance by Golden Ben and gone under .500 to boot. How demoralizing.

Ah, geez, wild pitch. Collect yourself, Ben.

well, the hit helped break my concerns about "what if he has a perfecto going and this game goes like 12 innings?" Cause it seemed only 115 pitches could do 12 innings

ONE MORE OUT. We need to channel our collective good vibes and send them to Anaheim. David, you're closest... you got some positive vibes stored up?

Does Bob have to keep mentioning the lack of walks? Like I said to Eric Franke on channel 3 when he mentioned the perfect game, "shut up, shut up SHUT UP!"
