I love the homeruns, but Prince has got to drive in that guy on third base. This team still hurts itself when it's time to execute.

Given how the hitters approached that last half inning after Weeks got himself to second, I don't want to hear a single word about Yost if somehow they blow this one 6-5.

No one warming up yet in the bullpen, maybe after this wild pitch someone will, however it looks like Cappy is going to have to get through this inning.

Edit: I guess Wise just got up.

Maybe moving Capuano to the bullpen won't be a horrible thing. He's fine his first few innings. For whatever reason, he's had no stamina this year. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Please get out of this with the score at least tied, Chris.

Well 2 HR's and almost a 3rd is not a good way for Capuano to make a statement to keep his job. He pitched better last game even if the defense cost him 3 or 4 ER's.

It's just really weird how all these games seem exactly the same.

1) The pitcher struggles in the 6th inning

2) Can't drive in guys without homeruns.

I wasn't going to watch the game today because I didn't watch last night and they won. I was prepping for my fantasy football draft and was curious how the Brewers were doing, so I just turned on the TV. The first pitch I saw was a single, followed by a homer, followed by a HBP, followed by a WP, followed by another WP and then finally a sac fly. *Click*. I'm done for today, hopefully I will see you all after a win.

You know, during this bad streak of Cappy's, he seems to be getting quite a few strikeouts (he has 8 today), which would make you think he's dominating, especially since his walk totals don't seem abnormally high either. He just seems to miss his spots to a few batters in a row in one inning, they string some hits together, and that is what has gotten him into trouble.

What a birthday present...You had a 5 run lead then blew it. I have a good feeling about this game still but, if you were Yost would you keep Cappy in the rotation or go to Vilanueva?

At least we found our scape goat.

That HBP to Dunn was pretty cheap, though...that barely nicked the jersey and Dunn didn't really try to move. Cappy really didn't respond well to that, though, since Dunn really should have never gotten past first base.

I'd keep Capuano honestly, the HR's today are disturbing but he has looked better recently in my opinion and I dont' feel we really do have another option anyway.
